In this episode, Russ shows us a light pole sitting in a grassy area. The installer used liquidtight flexible metal conduit (LFMC) and rigid PVC to protect the conductors. As we can see, this wasn’t a good choice as the conductors are now exposed. This certainly presents a shock hazard. Section 350.12 prevents us from using LFMC where it’s subject to physical damage.
