Hint: Look out below
I hope the piping installed above this panelboard does not develop any leaks. Liquids dripping or flowing into energized electrical equipment could result in catastrophic failure. As specified in Sec. 110.26(E)(1), the space above this panelboard enclosure is dedicated for the electrical installation and must be kept clear of any foreign systems for at least 6 ft directly above the equipment or until the structural ceiling, whichever is lower. The area above the dedicated space is permitted to contain foreign systems, provided some type of protection is installed to prevent damage to the electrical equipment from condensation, leaks, or breaks in the foreign systems. The drip pan or leak protection apparatus itself is not permitted to be installed in the dedicated space either.
