Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies Joins Z-Wave Alliance Board

Company will work to promote Z-Wave wireless technology

Carmel, Ind.-based Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies recently joined the Z-Wave Alliance, Fremont, Calif., as a principal and board member. As an Alliance board member, the company will participate in setting the ongoing direction of the organization's global efforts to certify and promote Z-Wave wireless technology.

“Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies has been a member of the Z-Wave Alliance since 2007 through its Schlage subsidiary, and has a proven history of excellence in providing industrial and consumer security technologies,” says Mark Walters, chairman of the Z-Wave Alliance. “The alliance believes that Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies’ elevation to the board reinforces the value of Z-Wave technology and continued leadership in the ‘connected home market.’"
